Laundry services / Mobile payments
CSC GO · Laundry
CSC ServiceWorks provides laundry and air solutions to more than 150,000 clients. CSC GO is its app for paying for laundry from your phone, part of a suite that also includes a field app for technicians and a company dashboard portal.

The problem
- Three audiences, three products. Customers pay, technicians service machines, administrators run operations, and each had a different tool.
- Legacy systems underneath. New designs had to integrate with existing systems and keep payment data secure.
- Tight deadlines across platforms. iOS, Android and web had to ship within the same timeline.
My role
Senior Product Designer, working with product managers, developers and other designers across several CSC teams.
Key decisions
- Payment first.
The CSC GO app puts starting a machine and paying in as few steps as possible, with clear machine status. - Real-time updates for technicians.
The field app gives technicians live job updates so they can act on service tasks on site. - Reports administrators can shape.
The dashboard portal offers customizable reporting so operations teams decide what they track. - Brand system, extended.
I worked within CSC’s brand guidelines and added new patterns where usability needed them, validated through interviews, surveys and usability tests.
The ecosystem: app, connected machines, field service and the admin portal working together.
The CSC GO app
Six key moments of the consumer app, from paying to knowing when your laundry is ready.
CSC GO consumer app (iOS and Android). A consumer app I proposed for CSC GO. Users could register their laundry room, learn how to get better results from every wash, and ask questions to an AI assistant, one of our first experiments with generative AI when it first came out. It also includes the user profile and the account flows around it.
Payments: login and sign-up journey. This file shows how I reasoned through the journey before designing screens: mapping every decision the user makes, the paths they can take and where they could drop off, and then turning that into the login, sign-up and payment flows.
Field app for service technicians. Here I worked from the old technician app, flow by flow. For each step I documented what to keep, what to change and why, so the redesign solved real problems in the field instead of only refreshing the look.
Company dashboard portal (desktop). Key desktop visuals from the first steps of the dashboard design: the layouts, data views and components administrators use to run operations, which set the base for the desktop experience.

Impact
CSC GO is live on the App Store and Google Play. Payments, field service and reporting now run on one coherent design language instead of three separate tools.
Reflection
Designing a suite taught me to design the handoffs between apps, not only the apps themselves.
